Our Favourite KidBlogger Had His Birthday. And I Got $161.95 Presents!

Recently our favourite KidBlogger, Carl Ocab had his 15th birthday. Being the kinda of guy he is, he decided to throw a massive competition to celebrate - with his readers as the winners. I just happened to be one of them- well actually, I was three of them!

He has just released the winners and I noticed my name not once, but three times. Looking at the prizes I won, they are all top quality information products and I am looking forward to getting them.

Here is what I won:

It was all so simple too. All I did was subscribed to his list, stumbled the post and sent him a birthday greeting via email.

After seeing the success of his competition, I am kicking myself a bit that I kind of promised myself not to do competitions to build rss readers on this blog. But thats ok. Blogging Idol starts on the first of July and with 93 contestants so far, it is going to be a big challenge for me as I am sure a lot of the bloggers are going to have competitions and giveaways to build the RSS count - and I will be challenged to think more creatively and outside the box.

I have a whole heap of ideas. One that I am getting really excited about. I am tempted to give you a preview of it, but have decided against it, because I want a massive buzz to build when I announce it. Let’s just say I am sure everyone of my readers will want it - and will be able to get it!

I will be reviewing each of the products that I won, as a thankyou to the creators for donating them to Carl for his contest, so keep a look out over the coming weeks to see what I think of these three products.
