Just needed to ask the question. Because if you cannot answer this one simple question then the chances of you actually succeeding in blogging are slim – and I think this is something that a lot of people struggle with.
I noticed this exact question posted on a forum today and it got me thinking about how many bloggers ask themselves this same thing.
Who Do You See Yourself As?
Who You Perceive Yourself To Be, Is How Others Will See You
If you think you are not good enough or why would anyone read my blog, then the chances are no one probably will read it. If do not display confidence in yourself and your ability how can you expect visitors to trust what you have to say.
Change Your Perception Of Yourself
You may say, “I don’t know enough about a subject to blog.” CHANGE THAT MINDSET!
I would make the bet that you know more than a lot of people about more than one subject. Just because you are not a guru in a subject doesn’t mean you don’t have something that others will benefit from. I think we underestimate ourselves a lot. We think that the things we are good at, we are not good enough at to teach people. But have you always known as much or been as good at something as you are now? If the answer in no, which I’m sure it will be, then wouldn’t there be other people just like you used to be that would love to learn from you?
EVERYONE has something that is valuable to someone else – so why not blog about it!
Just a short post today, but a pretty important topic. I hope you are able to see yourself as someone who has something valuable to input into the blogging community.
