After an article on a blog about using stumble, through the comments section about a dozen of us got together as a friends group. Whenever I post something I send it to the group and ask them to just have a look at the post - it's up to them if they want to give it a thumbs up or review.

Since doing this, traffic on my site after a post went from 400 hits a day to 6000.

I say build a stumble group - just don't ask members for a rating.

wow...great tips so far!

In regards to the topic..its blogging not MMO, but Im not sure digg likes blogging either.

But it is a list...A nice big one :D

With the title, Im still trying to work out how to structure it. Usually I go '10 ways to (Topic)' but I have been told stick your keywords first. So still working on that.

I will make sure I have a button ready for Digg, and will be hitting up a fair few bloggers letting them know about the post.

Any suggestions on the best time to digg a post?

Yes! Tom, blackhat is right Digg doesn't like blog opsts for MMO. Hit up DoshDosh for Digg that blogger has huge stories dugg.

I use a few others like delicious, stumble upon, myspace, twitter and more.

Dude Facebook is huge! Try to find and join groups related to MMO and marketing and stuff. I have recently been doing that and I got invited to this teleconference from some Internet Marketing pros.

Just sign up for a few using standoutblogger as the user name and profile title, and socialize on them as regularly as you can.

Do one at a time though so you don't get overwhelmed. You will go far man you are a people person. Best of luck man and kick Goliath's ass!

Yep

1) buttons close
2) lists
3) comedy for SU
4) never ask for Stumbles as this usually gets a -ve effect (or so i've found)

It'd help a LOT if the post was in list-format. eg. "Top 3 Ways To Make your Blog Posts Interesting"

Traditionally, digg users don't like the Make Money Online stuff but if your post keeps them interested (avoid technical jargon) and is fairly funny, they will surely give it a digg.

Another must-do is to have a "Digg it" button in the post itself as it appeals to those lazy digg-ers who can't be arsed to go back to digg to digg it.
