We have a public holiday in our region tomorrow and I am already in the mood of not doing any work. So instead of posting a fantastic post full of amazing content that inspires you to greatness, I want to share a few of my projects that never got off the ground.

5. CaseForChrist.net
This was meant to be a website where Christians could visit and submit stories of ways that God has impacted their lives. All the stories were to be added for visitors to read, plus I also had the intent to take the best stories and compile them into a book that would be sold on Amazons.

Why Did It Fail?
To many other ideas, I guess. I had a template made and everything, but then just moved on to something else and totally forgot about it.

4. WeLikeToBlog.com
This was supposed to be a joint project with a couple of fellow aussies where the three of us would just blog about our lives as Australians from states. But not only our lives but our interests. This lasted about 2 posts. I made one and one of the other guys made one – then it faded into oblivion.

Why Did It Fail?
We started it just after I started my personal blog and I found it hard at the time to be writing and promoting both – so one had to go. I still have the domain and maybe I will use it in the future.

3. PokerMoneyFree.info
This domain started as a email capture site that I planned on using for affiliate sales. When that didn’t work I thought the smart idea would be to turn it into a blog. I mean – I love blogging, so this will be easy. Right? Wrong! I think I made 2 posts and haven’t visited there since.

Why Did It Fail?
Looking back I have no idea why I turned it into a blog. I mean seriously, play poker, but know no-where-near enough to write about it constantly.

2. CustomBlogDesigner.com
Simply put, this was meant to be a rival for UniqueBlogDesigns. I saw how good they were doing and figured I could do the same but so much cheaper. I still think this domain has amazing potential for someone who has the passion to do blog designs – but my passion is in the blogging.

Why Did It Fail?
This one has so many reasons. First my design never got coded. I organised for a friend to do it for me, and he was always to busy – and it just never got done. Secondly, I took a monthly long break from the internet at the time I was supposed to launch it. And thirdly, I just really didn’t have a passion for design.

1. TomAndCody.com
This is probably my most recent failure, and made me realise never to involve a personal friend in your business ventures. This blog was supposed to be a viral type blog where we would make random video posts take offs of tv show scenes. Doesn’t sound as good as it did when we first thought of it.

Why Did It Fail?
Although it sounded good in theory, on second thought it sounded too time consuming. Plus after I purchased the domain my friend never mentioned it again. Although it hasn’t completely thrown me off working with close friends, as I have just convinced my best friend to start a blog – but this one has real potential.
