This ebook has been in the works for the last couple of months as I have watched many blogs come and go but a select few stay and really make something of themselves. They have become successful bloggers!

I decided to take a look at these ’successful’ blogs, to see what make them tick. And I found that they all had some very similar traits – 7 traits that were the reason for their success.

7 Traits Of A Successful Blogger

In this 15 page report I take an indepth look into each of the following 7 traits as well as providing you with some great advice on how to impliment these in your own blog.

The 7 traits highlighted in this ebook are:

  • Passion
  • Purpose
  • Planning
  • Problem Solver
  • People Focused
  • Personality
  • Profitability

With so many free ebooks being thrown around, with no new information or any benefit, just to get people to subscribe to blogs. I figured the best way to show you the quality of this ebook was to do exactly that – show you one of the traits! So here it is:

PASSION

“O Blog. Where Art Thou Passion?”

Passion is what drives us. If your blog were a car, then passion would definitely be the fuel!

Analogies are all good and well but let’s get a little bit more practical and take a look at 3 reasons why a successful blog needs to be a passionate blog.

Why Passion?

1.    It Motivates Us

Think back to when you first started your blog, and more than likely you chose your topic because it was something that interested you –something that you were (and hopefully still are) passionate about.

Blogging about a passion makes it easy for us to find time to blog, as well as allowing us to benefit from the countless post ideas that will constantly be running through your mind – since the topic is something that you are passionate about.

2.    It Demands Excellence

Have you ever played a ‘friendly’ game of sport a passionate supporter? It can sometimes be frustrating because they always demand that the rules MUST be followed –down to the last ‘I’ being dotted and EVERYONE must be playing at their best.

With a passionate supporter, there is no such thing as a ‘friendly’ game, and no such thing as playing ‘half-hearted’. Passionate people always give 100%.

This is because “Passion Demands Excellence!”

It is the same with blogging. If you are passionate about your blog and its topic then everything you do on, or in your blog, will need to be done excellently!

  • Your CONTENT needs to be excellent
  • Your DESIGN must be better than anyone else’s
  • Your GRAMMAR and FORMATTING have to be perfect as not to distract readers from your content
  • EVERYTHING has to be perfect

3.    Your Readers Appreciate It

There is nothing more boring than reading a passionless blog post.

I was going to note that it would be like reading a scientific journal, but if they were written with passion – I would prefer to read them over a lifeless blog post anyday. Passion shows through in every area of your blog, but nowhere more than the blog posts themselves.

”Passionate bloggers can make the most boring or technical topic, page turningly exciting, while even the most interesting topic can put you to sleep if written without passion.”

As you can see, passion is extremely important if you want your blog to be successful. But what good is passion if it is not funneled into creating something useful? This is why the second trait of a successful blogger is PURPOSE!
